　　On November 11th, 2013, the Chinese Olympic Committee formally announced its bid to the International Olympic Committee as a candidate city to host the 2022 Winter Games.

　　On March 14th, 2014, the IOC officially publicized the five cities bidding to host the 2022 Winter Olympics: Beijing, China, Krakow, Poland, Oslo, Norway, Almaty, Kazakhstan and Lviv, Ukraine.

　　On July 7th, 2014, the International Olympic Committee officially revealed the three cities that had become candidate cities for the 2022 Winter Games: Beijing, China, Oslo, Norway, and Almaty, Kazakhstan.

　　On October 1st, 2014, with Oslo, Norway, officially retracting its bid, the remaining two candidate cities for the 2022 Winter Games are Beijing and Almaty.

　　On January 6th, 2015, representatives from the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Bid Committee arrived in Lausanne, Swizerland, to officially deliver their candidacy file for the 2022 Games to the IOC.
